There are several different types of mates within the game. Note that the name of the mate does, in fact, correlate to the bonuses they give. Example being the cook, Bowser, will always have a better reduction to flag combat time than Cooks Bones and Meyers. If you already have a Lookout named Kaire, then you already know you have that exact property distribution and might want a different distribution such as Lookout Rowena. This will help you identify what mates you have to those you need. Below, you will find the property statistics that each mate can manipulate.

[Note: You cannot get ALL properties a mate has. This list only shows what properties you CAN have. Specific mate combinations have specific property adjustments as well. Legendary Mates are a slight exception. These gold gem mates will enhance or add properties at the cost of lowered effectiveness of another.]
